This is a classic rendition. Rich nose of oozingly ripe raspberry and warm sandstone. Large framed, with rich raspberry fruit, intense salty minerality, very good acids, and still some tannins to shed. Excellent length. It was good with my pizza but would be great with a rich winter stew.

Sep 21st, 2016Old school old vine Aussie Grenache. Smoky, minerally deep berryish nose. Intense ripe raspberry fruit that just keeps building in purity and intensity. Plus some of that sandstoney gravel thing I associate with Aussie Grenache. Very full, and with great acids. Will last for a while.

Coconut dominated the palate at first. But with an hour of air, jammy with blueberry and some spice.
