Nice break from California Chardonnay, clean, dry, fresh, excellent fruit. 70% sémillon and 30% Sauvignon. With aging potential. Costco.

2019 vintage. Dry white Bordeaux from Sauternes vineyards (70 % Sémillon and 30% Sauvignon blanc) by Olivier Bernard of Domaine de Chevalier fame. Lune d'argent is the middle range and the heart of the production of Clos des Lunes. Hard to resist young, but ages well (check my comments on the 2015). At 9,90 euro (!) in my local supermarket this is one of the greatest white wine values ever. Combines the rich exotic fruit of the Semillon with the freshness of Sauvignon, the oak is perfectly integrated and it has amazing complexity and length for this price range (I thought the 2015 tasted this year was very good value at 17,90 euros). Abv. 13%.

Disappointing 2019 vintage of this white Bordeaux. Very little flavor and perhaps a corked bottle.

Slowly made my way through via Coravin when I need something in between the bottles I think more deeply about. It has notes of melon and lemon and crisp citrus and minerals. It's a good filler.
