Stellar bottle right here. Deep stewed black and red fruit, violets, campfire, rosemary & thyme, with plenty of barnyard funk, and river rocks. Great structure with grippy tannins on the mid-palate and sturdy acidity that keeps you coming back. Long pure finish. This kind of wine is firmly in my wheelhouse, and really came alive with turmeric baked chicken thighs.

Feb 1st, 2021An absolute delight. Aromatic earthiness and fruit that translates well to the palate. Reminiscent of the alea viva. Consider this a repeat. Had with a robust ham and green beans dinner.

Oct 24th, 2020Pronounced Brett. Not quite too much Brett, but close. Green pepper, Boisenberry, and blackcherry cranberry. Underripe, tart fruit. Almost effervescent on the palate. Serve at cellar temps. Funky, but enjoyable.
