Suuuuuper primary. Front loaded with fruit and spice and little else. For my palate, not ready for full appreciation. Disjointed; all knees and elbows. Quality is there for sure, just needs time. Check back in two-three years.

Had this over 2 days and it is 2 different wines. Yesterday more of the cedar/cigar was showing. Today it’s mushrooms. Fun getting back into Bordeaux.

2016: 85% merlot, 15% Cabernet franc. It’s good, but just on the edge of tasting really sweet and cheap. I wouldn’t pay over $18. Quite overpriced at $40 total wine.
