Concha y Toro
Gran Reserva Serie Riberas Ribera del Tinguiririca Cabernet Sauvignon

Lots of tannins and cherries and some smokiness. Do I detect a hint of peppers too? Improved as it opened up...

Fairly simple and balanced. Fruity and floral aromas. Balanced acidity and round tannins, quite fresh. Flavors of black currant, hint of cherry, black pepper, and mint.

Smooth on the palate and a great wine for the price

Well balanced versatile red wine. Pairs well with pasta Bolognese other grilled red meats or just drinking on the porch

Started off the group tasting with a nice Chile Cab. There's noticeable oak and black currant to it. Prunes, most dried black fruit... But there's a fair amount of dried rosemary or tarragon going on in there to make it unique. Totally enjoyable
