ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Pretty nose of blueberries, black currants, light cherries, oak, vanilla,
vegetables, bell pepper, cloves, pencil lead, wet leaves, earth and peppercorn.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with plums, cherries, strawberries, currants, barnyard, green
vegetables, herbs, chocolates, wood, earth, bell pepper and peppercorn.
Medium finish with soft tannins and black pepper
This Chilean Cabernet is drinkable now, but needs a year in the bottle to
mature. Not fully balanced with mild complexity. Spicy with a nice mouthfeel. A
good everyday red wine from Chile.
Needs an hour to open up properly and show some tannins. Good by itself and better
with food. I paired it with soft and hard cheeses and light appetizers.

Jan 19th, 2019This is the first time I ever rated a wine as truly awful. Cork was fine, but this wine had a very weird smell and taste like something was wrong with the grapes or they added something that didn’t belong in a wine bottle. We couldn’t drink it. I’ve had wines that weren’t my favorite, but never so bad I couldn’t finish a glass and dumped 3/4 bottle down the drain. Yuck.

Decanted for an hour and quite harsh with high acidity. Much better the second night as it has softened to give nice raspberry aroma with hint of pepper and good dark cherry.

Давненько не пивал их. Черные ягоды, смородина, ярко. Вкус полный, сочно, аккуратно, без изъянов. Массовое, чистое, коммерческое, и кабы не курс доллара, вполне доступное. Молодцы, что говорить.
