Deep red color with Berry and floral aromas. Despite the warm climate in 2012, the flavors were bright and bold with blackberry and cherry on the palate together with a great mouthfeel of mineral and tannins on a well balanced lingering finish. Very nice. Drinking well now.

Dec 8th, 201730 min aeration. Deep dark red color (beautiful, inky). Currant, dark fruit and aluminum can on the pleasant nose. Full mouthfeel to smooth, viscous palate that has some meaty notes on the back end. Firm tannins on medium finish. Great QPR for this complexity.

Feb 15th, 2016Deep, wet and musty cellar with animal notes... but somehow it fits here perfectly, aeration also makes the nose better. In mouth - well... it's freaking mineral with bitter nuts and almonds, trying to find some red or black berries... They are all blended with smoky oak. Sounds strange - but It is really complex and good Carmenere.
