Dark purple. Dark fruit. Violets. Plum, meat, pepper. It's got sediment which I thought provided character. Had with spiced salmon which wasn't quite fleshy enough to go with the wine. Would gladly drink again with grilled meat.

May 3rd, 2016Structured, but it felt constructed in a way I'm not used to what with all my French drinking. Still, great big fruit and green pepper flavors, enough acidity and body to keep everything in a precarious balance of more is more.
