The Dark Lodi Red Blend

Yeah, buddy! Legs and color are amazing; full, opaque and very dark. Black currant and cherry and chocolate on the nose, with just a hint-o-spice. Taste is smooth and jammy, and it rounds out with a choclatey prune-like finish that I'm sort of into! It's a yes.

Interesting. Dark, inky, jammy almost like liquified berry jam. Has no real discernible character except for being “different”. Would almost be best as an afternoon wine similar to Port and would certainly work well with aged or softer cheeses. Glad I tried it but once is enough.

Almost port like. Hoping it’s better when it opens up

Appropriate name for this dense, concentrated blend, chocolate and dark fruit and a backbone of tannic bite, and a looong finish. Very special.

BlackBerry currant, plum and chocolate. Decent Friday night wine.
