Not very appealing on the nose with cloves, oak, blackberries, plums, cherries, licorice and caramel.
Medium plus in body with high acidity.
Dry on the palate with sour cherries, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, plums, oak, licorice, cloves, caramel and black pepper.
Medium finish with soft tannins and light black pepper.
This Merlot is harsh and unattractive. Not for me.
13.5% alcohol by volume.

Beautiful deep violet color. Light earthy aroma. High acidity. Blackberry, cherry, vanilla and pepper. Dry. Medium body. Nice lasting tannin. Very nice merlot from Central Coast.
