$45 on one of the most overpriced wine lists I’ve ever set these big brown eyes on. I’m all about this for $20 retail. Pretty classic, light red, roses, flowers. I like this wine and don’t think it gets enough love.

Really surprised how approachable this one was - the fresher style of Nebbiolo - only 1 year in oak - great red fruit, spice, but some substance to boot.

Brightly floral, black olives and deep coniferous/resin/menthol up front, biting tannic structure at finish. Quite tight on day one, peaked at day two.
