Dehlinger Winery
Altamont Pinot Noir
Russian River Valley, Sonoma County, California, USA
If you have any 2012 Altamonts this is a great time to drink them. Brilliant, sunshiny fruit and wonderfully melted tannins. It has clarity, depth and finesse right now with just enough acidity to keep the mid palate lifted. A real knockout vintage that may not get much better with time. Very harmonious.

Jan 2nd, 2017A very good wine, lots of fruit, decent acidity.
Lacking that certain something to make it truly special. I'd happily pay $22-28 a bottle, but I fear this wine doesn't stand up to its $55+ price tag.
