Traditional chardonnay. Medium-bodied, fresh, oaky, very nice and surprisingly affordable.

Oct 2nd, 2015Not bad. More of a citrus crisp fresh chardonnay, with some steely minerality to it. Bit tart with hints of lemon, apple, bit of pineapple. Refreshing acidity, but I prefer my chardonnay big, buttery and oaky. Decent. I'd drink it again, but not a favorite. Had it with Chinese food. Worked well with the kung pao and sweet and sour dishes. Not good with the satay beef. That played up the minerality of the wine in a bad way. Could potentially see this as being a good accompaniment to salads as well.
