This is the most fruit I've ever tasted in such a young D.C. Wow. Stylistic change? Phil has been making these wines for 30 years so just curious as to the thought here. However, it's irresistible.

This is truly the nectar of the Gods. Red fruit, black fruit, minerality and baking spices. M acid, M body, m/m+ soft round tannins. Black currant, plum, spice. Long lingering finish that does not stop. Worth every bit the price. A true classic.

Red cherry, savory, baking spice, ripe black plum. Wet rock and balsamic. M acid, body. M/m+ tannin. Still young but balanced and elegant. Long finish. Very unique in a good way. Beautiful wine.

2013 vintage. On the nose, smokey, oakey, currant and licorice. On the palate anis, dark cherry, black currant, and blackberry. Very long fruity finish of black cherry and blackberry. Nice full body Balanced nicely by strong tannins. Just outstanding.
