Almost Sauternes golden, Dom Perignon 1973 (regular release, not Oenotheque) displayed burnt honey, truffle, and hazelnut, with a funky Jura-like oxidative edge, which I dig. Still some bubble. Not so much a pleasure potion as it is an elixir of fascination. If you are having any of the Real Housewives over, serve at your own peril.
