My second time with this bottle and remains the greatest champagne I’ve ever had the privilege of tasting. So incredibly fresh and would have guessed 10-20 years younger if tasting blind. Truly a life changing wine

Disgorged in 2005. Many consider '76 a turning point of a vintage. This was the last harvest in Champagne before the new clones came online in force, and a preview of early harvest conditions to come. This bottle was light gold, very Burgundian- nearly Batard like in weight and intensity, but still vivacious and mineral on the long finish. Wow!
