I had heard recent vintages of Clape are much more approachable young and this 2016 proved that notion. So juicy, expressive and totally open for business.

An intriguing wine with depth. Notes of black cherry and purple fruit awashed with a finish that does not relent. Violet and a slight pepper quality. Just hits the spot. Paired with a heavy stew.
