Zesty minerality, lemon, apricot and Asian pear. Gained weight longer opened and well balanced and refreshing. Preferred the 2016 to the 15.

Some white fruit, apples, some lemon too, a touch earthy and with some silex, very Chablis like salinity, nice depth and roudness, great moithfeel, good balance. Two caveats; length is average and it’s my last bottle.

Super smooth, slightly understated. Just enough butter to remind you of white Burgundy, mineral, nice balance.

This is a strong example of the premier cru vs others in the Montrachet world of wine. The true stars make you think....”I can’t waste this wine with it’s amazing blend of pears and oak”. The second tier make you think, “...it’s good, but not as defined and this goes well with cookies”. This is second tier but to their credit, not priced in the first tier.

A touch of reduction. Abricots, some citrus, a touch smoky on the nose. The palate is great, very nice tension, fresh yet full and fairly complex with a slightly buttery feel, good decent length too. 90-91
