2023 vintage. So this is a very delicate, hands off producer. Whispers vs screams. For their Puligny efforts, it can be problematic as the wines can be too subtle. For this Corton-Charlemagne however, the dialing down the usual "11" C-C intensity to a 6.5-7.0 works wonders. You can actually taste and enjoy the wine instead of fending it off and, unsuccessfully, calling for help. Medium body. Mineralité for days. Plenty of citrus fruit (and a few stone ones) but none in particular driving the bus. Really, really nice. 10.7.26.
