2023 vintage. So this is a very delicate, hands off producer. Whispers vs screams. For their Puligny efforts, it can be problematic as the wines can be too subtle. For this Corton-Charlemagne however, the dialing down the usual "11" C-C intensity to a 6.5-7.0 works wonders. You can actually taste and enjoy the wine instead of fending it off and, unsuccessfully, calling for help. Medium body. Mineralité for days. Plenty of citrus fruit (and a few stone ones) but none in particular driving the bus. Really, really nice. 10.7.26. — 7 days ago

2023 vintage. Pale straw color. Light body. Hints and suggestions of stone fruit along with delicate citrus impressions. Minimal oak presence plus a slightly discernible white pepper note on the tongue. Could easily use another year or two before a second visit. Les Levrons is a lieu-dit located just below the premmie cru vineyard plot of Les Referts and physically close to Meursault. 5.25.26. — 5 months ago
