Pulled this out of the cellar to pour on our pairing menu this weekend. It’s in a great spot for quail, gnocchi and truffles. Pure morello cherry 🍒 with a bit of tannic structure. A family that goes back to 1898 in Marsannay.

Cherry and cranberry aromas that match the pallet. Forest floor and a little toasty oak in the background that is a nice touch and not overly done. Would drink this again.

Good with cheese, with strong tannins. Not elegant, and disappointing for the price. Weak nose. Too expensive for what it is.
