Les Clos Chablis Grand Cru Chardonnay

Spring loaded acidity and an edgy minerality...notes of gun flint, exotic citrus fruits, lemon curd and limestone

Complex three distinct phases, fruity nose to start, then carmel that quickly ends with a finish of earth and cement

Killer wine! Christian (and now Fabien) make in my opinion one of the best representations of Les Clos and this domaine is sitting right next to Dauvissat and Ravenau quality-wise, yet the prices are way more sane.

I love Chablis and can't get enough of les clos. Wonderful minerality and grapefruit underpin thus wine as one of the most amazing in northern burgundy. Purity and simplicity was amazing. Seamless.

This is much improve from the last time. It is a bit oaky for me but less than it used to be. Very lemon and minarlity wine. Green apple peel, some drying tannins, some grapefruit and melon. The acidity is so high! Very deep and complex and on tye same time very classic. Seems to me this wine will age for five years at least with no problem.
