Wowsa! This is about the best chardonnay nose I have ever smelt. Caramel, toasted hazelnuts, lemon, flint - all swirled together. The palate opens rich and big, with butter and caramel, but then the flinty, mineral notes kick in with a super long citrus finish. A full story.
