Sipping Fine Wine

Established in the village of Marsannay in the 1960's by Bernard Coillot, father of owner Christophe Coillot. Deep Ruby red color with aromas of berry fruit and spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry with notes of fig, mushroom and spice. Fine soft tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice and earthy mineral character. Very Nice!

Fresh red fruit, mostly raspberry. Slightly funky aroma, herbal and a bit tannic. A little hot on opening, needs an hour+ to settle down. Very good for the price point.

Update on day 2: expected it to improve, but it gets worse. Degrades with bitterness, a little syrupy. Drink it right away!
