Perhaps the best of the St. Josephs of our run lately. Very understated and subtle, this wine took some time and coaxing to show its elegant black pepper and fine grained tannin. It was a great drink with the fatted calf duck crepenets!

Very oaky and tannic. Needs lots of time. Very good wine, just not nearly ready. Rustic, I suppose.
