Too young, yes, but good times with my lovely wife let this open up big time. Rich aromatics, evolved over conversation. Cedar, pie spice, dark fruits, floral. Started out smooth and silky before the tannins really kicked in. This is gonna be killer with more time. Paired awesome with tonight’s beef tartare, bolognese, and pork shank osso bucco.

The 2018 Domaine de Chevalier is easily one of the wines of the vintage. A wine of mind-blowing precision and regal elegance, Domaine de Chevalier dazzles from the very first taste. Dried herbs, rose petal, mint, blood orange, pomegranate and bright mineral notes all build in the glass. Richly layered but also translucent, the 2018 is a real head-turner. Don't miss it! (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, March 2021)

2018 vintage. This is the red. Bright cherry and menthol in the nose. Light medium bod. Cocoa powder makes a cameo appearance early in the closing palate but that menthol is the stuff of good, classic horror movies. Chock full of pursuit und relentless. Best showing/vintage of the respective decade for this juice and that's saying something.

2018 vintage. Decent nose but super tight currently and loathe to name names and drop specifics. Great (9.6) body tho. Will pick up more and definitely decant and wait hand and foot on the current remaining bottle when opened in the next few months.
