The best Fleurie I've come across ... hazy and brooding with delicate dried flowers, raspberry, stewed sour cherry, and bitter almond.

Impossible to describe. Idiosyncratic wine that's light and beautiful but completely luscious and giving at the same time. The hype is real. Also this vintage is a monster.

Precise, intense raspberry. Cutting stone. Quiet earth. Cracked pepper. Despite the pink granite it comes from, a certain iron. All at once delicately assured and discreetly feral.

Captivating. Like a rip-tide, first across the palate is pure liquid red fruits and high toned florals. Then the fruit recedes and leaves a persistent roiling tumble of rocks, herbs and grip. Super cool, super delicious.

Complex full bodied bouquet with a distinctly fruity front. Takes a while to open up and then hits soft with earthly minerals. Metallic even! Enjoy!

My corned beef pairing for tonight

Super cherry nose with a hint of pomegranate some meat and a funky tone. The palate is delicious. Cherry, a nice acid frame, subtle tannins, the wine is not just long it is wide too. Quite a long finish. I love it !
