Light Straw color with white flesh fruits and nutty aromas. On the palate melon, apple and pear flavors with sweet fig nuances with some floral notes. This wine did not come into contact with oak aging. On the finish, this full-bodied wine was rich, creamy and elegant, with fresh acidity and mineral tones. This 2010 is drinking well now. Very Nice!

Have a cold, but here's the palate anyway: creamy and sort of weightless on tip of the tongue, and bitter beneath it and on the sides. The top of the mouth and throat sting a little from the alcohol. There's an exotic bitterness or a firmness trapped somewhere within the blankets of its buttery transparent exterior.

The 2007 and 2010 were both terrific, but hugely different. The 10 more mineral and the 07 almost nutty. The bottle on the right is what comes to the states labeled as Savennierre.

Lovely Chenin Blanc. Nose is powerful, pear and melon. Palette is lychee or almost pineapple, and unlike the 2009 vintage, there is no sourness in the finish. No funk in this vintage either. A classic and well-made Chenin Blanc. I left it open overnight before consuming.
