From a slice of land in the Pavillon, their other top Fleurie Cuvee. This is old school and awesome. What a nose. Big huge blackberry and cherry fruit. Also some licorice. Just jumps out at ya. Also loads of tweed jacket and even some watermelon. So vibrant and expressive. Earth and mineral frame the fruit so well. Concentrated and juicy wirh amazing sappy purity and fruit is all skin now but I’m sure will open up as it airs. Tight now but it is all there. Finish is short initially then slowly expands with air. I’ll be back with more details soon. Once it opens more.

After spring cleaning all day yesterday i wanted a wine i knew would be totally delicious. A job for cru Beaujolais! This one exceeded expectations. I think it’s drinking perfectly right now. Lots of raspberries backed by lavender and autumn leaves and spice.

Superb structure, energy and minerality. Bright and lifted with terrific clarity. Juicy, tangy and deep. Velvety and substantial tannins but so much energetic minerality makes this playful. This is a baby and needs 3-7 years. Terrific today but better tomorrow.
