Clear bright medium minus ruby. The nose is clean and restrained with some smoky red berry aromas and a nice hint of something herbal. Firm medium plus tannins and acidity - this isn't a wimpy Beaujolais by any stretch. Better with food than on its own. A bit lean but bracing with a nice longish finish

Dark Ruby with red berry aromas and spicy notes. On the palate cherry and raspberry flavors with pepper spice and dry tannins. Nice balance with acidity on a medium finish ending with smoky oak notes. Very consistent among vintages. Enjoyable, nice value.
