Cuvée Gaby Crozes-Hermitage Syrah

Always love this wine and easily a top 3 Crozes Hermitage. Nose is all black olive, green love and lurid blackberry fruit. Terrific granite and minerals. Super refined yet wild and so expressive. Ocean air. Red berries. Super complex. Wow the palate is juicy and has wonderful ripeness and legit finesse. Major structure and depth. Finished olivey. Gamey elements as well. Drinking so well. Really wonderful, expressive and floaty mid palate. I love this wine.

Deep Garnet color. The nose is discreet at first glance but the mouth is beautiful in balance. Full-bodied mouth, silky. Lardy smoky notes, spicy black fruits, close to a Cornas. Nice bottle for its price.

Robe Grenat, profond. Le nez est discret de prime abord mais la bouche est magnifique d’équilibre. Bouche corsée, soyeuse. Notes fumées lardées, fruits noirs épicé, proche d’un Cornas. Belle bouteille pour son prix.

Earth on the nose. Nice plum flavors. Some spice. Nice liveliness on the palate. Well made for what it is. Solid Tuesday night wine. I’m having with steak n Roquefort sauce. Vive la France ... ok getting even better as it opens. More savory. Burgundian ? Pommardian ? Mos def dense in an elegant good way. Nose is getting sick. I love drinking well made wines. They get so much more interesting as they open. ... almost a Rhône burgundy cross. Very elegant. Bizarre. But great.

Second night in Seabrook for Memorial Day weekend. Aromatic, lush and floral. Great depth and nuance here. Very pretty wine.
