Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhône Blend

Deep Ruby with aromas of ripe black and red fruits and pepper spice. On the palate flavors of plums and ripe red berries with herb and pepper spice. Fine soft tannins with, medium+ finish ending with fruit, mushroom and earthy notes.

Flawless but lacks excitement. But this is a great vintage in Southern Rhone and they took advantage of that.

Individual stuff with an almost Friulian character, where down-sized peachy fruit and lovely stoneiness are highlighted by an herbaceous addition, providing backbone and freshness.

Fresh, lively, clean pit fruit, great balance.

Shows CdP features, but weak on most fronts. "Where's the acid?"

CNDP with a little Toad in the Hole. A marvellous Anglo-Franco pairing.

Drinking like it has been aging for five years or more. Delicious!

Red fruit, smoke, dried flowers, and some animal scent. Enjoyed 2 bottles with cajun/creole dinner

Whole Foods- perfume nose of rose petal, lilac and strawberry jam. Equally pretty across the palate with notes of cinnamon and kirsch. I wanna take this wine out to nice seafood dinner and never call it again....well maybe a few times!
