Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Fresh, clean, juicy; blackberries, dark cherries, plum, blueberries, cranberries, pomegranate & strawberries. Red licorice/cola, light, dark spice, saddle-wood, just a touch if grilled meats, fresh tobacco leaf, fresh herbs, limestone minerals, dry top soil, some moist dark earth, bright, dark & red fresh florals, acidity like a river and elegantly polished for days.

Very earthy! Lots of licorice and spiced cherry jam too but it really has almost a bit of countryside funkitude to it. Complex and tasty for a basic Burg.

Plenty drinkable

This is really terrific for a "generic" red Burgundy. Faively treats it seriously and with respect and the result is a very well crafted wine with good depth and length

Medium body with red cherry, unripe raspberry, and licorice notes. Hint of savoriness, stemy and earthy. Med plus tannin.

Probably the best wine I've ever bought from a mainstream supermarket in Italy.

Totally decent when you're on a coke binge in Astoria and need to order Greek food.

Good ordinary Pinot. Crowd pleaser but not special.

2011 vintage

Earthy, black cherry, plum, cranberry, charred wood, smokey with a hint of violet. M acid and body. M- tannin. Short finish.
