Top Notes For
A powerful rendition of CC for sure, up front to the back the tension and power are very apparent. The wine has 3 distinct phases on the palate: the attack starts with fruit that is starting to fade into maturity, the middle is where the oak takes over, while the finish is the best part thrusting the energy of the wine deep into a long finish. If anything the oak is too aggressive while the slight oxidation tells me it's starting to descend from a peak.
