On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with herb and peppery spice. Fine tannins, medium+ finish, well balanced, ending with fruit and mineral character.

I took no notes but very good bottle in a more classical register, albeit less "clumsy" than in prior times. Good stuff and requires a few more years.

Loved the color of the wine as I poured it into my glass. The bright purple really popped out. Loads of flavor. This was tasty.
