Deep, lurid ruby. Displays highly expressive aromas of blackberry, cherry compote, pungent flowers, olive and black pepper, plus a hint of smoky bacon. Chewy and expansive in the mouth, offering intense, spice- and mineral-accented black and blue fruit, bitter chocolate and violet pastille flavors, with a sweetening touch of cola. Finishes impressively long, energetic and focused, with resonating floral and spice notes and youthfully firming tannins. 100% whole clusters and all neutral oak.
