Chocolate and cafe notes on the palate.. would be a good wine to store for a few years and let it mature a bit longer..! 🤟

Nose of black fruit, even some blueberries, a bit of a smokey feel to it, some violets too and traces of dark chocolate. The palate is delicious with good acidity, a nice freshness coupled with subtle and approachable tannins, on a good fairly lenghty finish. A nice forward 2017 at a good price for the appellation and that will age well also no doubt. 91-92 pts

Less jammy than your typical cote rotie with higher acidity. Dark fruits and spice. Delicious and lighter on the palate than traditional Syrahs from this region

Violets, minerality, and new oak shows up early, medium-bodied, needs cellaring, I prefer my Cote Roties a tad more rustic, but lovely juice!!
