Very dark purplish rubi robe, nose of dark cherries, sweet spices and blackcurrant. Medium bodied, rich but light on its feet after 2 hours decanting. This is top notch stuff and highly recommended.

N: peppery raspberry sauce with lots of garrigue and a few wild flowers.
P: starts out with ripe, rich fruit notes balanced by savory herbs, with pencil lead and stones on the finish.
Had with kibbeh and mezze spread. The allspice in the kibbeh brought out attractive spice notes in the wine, and vice versa. Similarly spoke the paprika on the hummus.
I really like this cdr, Greg liked it less.
