Clos de la Mouchère Monopole Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay

A wine to marry... classic in all ways and intriguing at same time.

A touch of oak but everything in place, honeysuckle, ocean mist.

Blonde Bombshell wine!

Lemon, lemon peel, green apple, class. Drank three days after Jane opened it, still on point!

First bottle since election. Helped.

Good acidity. Stoney and peachy.

Wood (cedar) and ripe flavors, but not overdone. Silky texture. Memorable.

2007 remarkably full bodied and great with sea bass

Honeyed, unctuous mouth feel, incredible texture. On the finish the slightly briney character emerges. Delicately perfumed, I might have guessed an upscale Montrachet. Would have guessed an older wine.
