My humble contribution to the Tailgate shenanigans. Compared to the other white Burgs poured tonight, the color alone was an outlier and it didn’t stop there…but that was to be expected. The 2021 seems impossibly bright, laden with tart tropical fruit; steely, chalky, leesy, lovely. This should drink well through 2036+.

We did 21 barrel samples so 2020 bottle shot. Bottled in August. Super expressive nose, ripe and exotic. green pea, salt, but so complex and detailed. So much nuance. Silky and complex and has amazing finesse and elegance with an exciting and sapid finish, what energy as well. So mineral on the finish and tremendous complexity. Also a purity that is out of hand.
