This is still very pretty, lots of nice texture, nuance, impeccable balance. Confectionary, fennel seed and floral nose, mineral, tangy, licorice root palate. Still some freshness but it may be time to drink up. What a steal this was.

Whoa- serious value here. Beautiful exotic and tropical on the nose. On the palate this is textured, spicy, and mineral with surprising concentration and voluptuousness. Buttered poached fruits, framed by a nice soft vein of acid. Lingering finish. Drinking way better and offering more tension than the ‘18 Blanche St. Joseph to my palate(at about 1/3 of the price).

For $29 this dog hunts. Genuine, wholesome, and for the table. This has depth and gras but beautifully balanced acidity. Its mineral core is highlighted by the texture and grip from the phenolic components. Poached pear, peach, pineapple, orange peel, fig, spearmint, almonds, stones, chamomile, vanilla, parsnip and white pepper. Absolutely perfect w/ delicata, hazelnuts, brown butter and burrata. Even more so w/ turkey pot pie the following evening.
