Goddamit. The response to the question 'why do you like Syrah so much?'. It pains my blue collar soul to admit the aristocratic beauty of this wine.

Cedar, leather, roasted meat, mushroom, black tea, gravel, stewed plum and berries. Wonderful.

Burley upon opening and then calming down. Acid is big bordering on tart(okay tart)mineral is strong and all is Syrah is feminine. I hope to meet again
