Full bodied fleshy wine. Orange peal, honey, citrus. Not heavy at all. Great wine

Seafood tower and...Fabulous bottle! Starting to enter its window. Rich but not heavy, fresh with bitter elements that blend nicely to offer contrast between its gras and broad fruit. I found it to be quite lively on the palate without sacrificing classic Hermitage blanc character. A true vin de terroir. Great evolution over a couple hours of air.

One of the all time great whites, 80 pct marsanne, 20pct roussanne. Young with another 20 years of staying power. Drinks very nicely now, honeysuckle, orange rind, minerally butterness. Beautiful.
