Takes for ever to open.
Steep and rustic at first, when open, it’s friendly and round.
But make no mistake, even once open, after the smooth soft entry, it morphs into a very animal, wild and steep experience. Not falling flap, more the opposite! Yum!

The O.G. Cote Rotie. Funky bloody and floral. That might sound appealing but for is Northern Rhone lovers this is the bee's knees! #coterotie #serinewilliams #rhônoyoudidnt #bloody #gamey

Killer Cote Rotie! So balanced & aromatic with perfume notes of black cherry, meat, iron, blood, olive & violets.

Sep 24th, 2017Blind tasted and was told that it was mono varietal. Didn't get any Viognier so was confused- alas my gut was right. I never distinguish Syrah from serine. But it really does impact the wine. Regardless- amazing. The acidity was surprising. Green peppers and some violets with a hint of red fruit on the nose. Quite a tender and delicate nose.
