Shy nose reluctantly gives up scents of deep, rich berry fruit, classic Mourvèdre tree bark, and dry gravel. Much more demonstrative in the mouth. Mouthfilling and dank, it still has plenty of tannin to shed, but is fine now. Not super complex but a very good value in the low 20s.

Thanks to my brother for this. Inky, blueberry, plum, and leather. Tannins provide backbone. My only quibble is there isn’t a whole lot on this nose. Enjoyable. Had it with garlic/ wine braised short ribs over polenta. Went great. I think this is the time to open these
