Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru Chardonnay

Struck match and lemon. Bright and vital. Gorgeously intense with a succulent midpalate and a long finish. A great bottle.

Matchsticks and tart lemon. Lovely classic legalize profile with sharp edges and a pretty white flower sweetness. Delicate and gorgeous.

Rocking acidity. A little funk blew off the top of this and it ended up being a great drink!

2004 in a gorgeous place - focused, Razor-sharp and no sign of premox.

Heavy SO2 like all of their 2004. On the palate it's precise with some breadth and lots of density.

Phenomenal

No formal notes . Medium yellow . Quite closed at first but a notable richness to it , ginger and yellow fruits , touch of struck match . On the palate really quite lively and fruited , lemon touches , very mineral and long on the palate . Good fresh acidity and good density . This is still quite young and benefited from time in the glass . From now and over the next 5-10 years .

Matchstick/ sulfur and a limestone, citrus. Beautiful balance on the palate. A touch of honey and a sweet warmth. Great acidity. Very precise and light but a lot of substance too. Lovely right now.
