Domaine Leflaive
Bourgogne Blanc Chardonnay
Light gold. Very aromatic. Lemon curd. Stone. White flowers. Honeysuckle. Great combo of fruit and acidity. No signs of premox. Outperformed expectations.

Mar 8th, 2015Just the right side of aged vs advanced. Smells a bit nutty but on the palate it's got a nice candied pineapple note with a decent lick of citrus and some salinity. Drink now. The upside is limited and the potential downside to further aging pretty dramatic given reports of the pox. The 2007.

Sep 26th, 2015The 07. Quite fine but off its peak and a little muted. Drink up.

Aug 2nd, 2015Drinking beautifully, punching well above its weight with good line and length. A lovely balanced mouthful of chalk, pineapple, salt and citrus, with a hint of honey.
