Fantastic, fresh and lively, citrus and creme brûlée with a touch of almond. For a hot vintage only showing a touch of roundness.

2009 White Burg killing it at #lapaulee

2009. A bit oxidized which is odd considering this is the King of sulphur but not horribly so.

Not as good as the 97 fol but still just so right.

A real treat. The warmer vintage does take a way a bit of the tension and acidity you would usually expect, the Leflaive did a great job keeping the wine focused.

This is premoxed. Not horribly, but 2009 should definitely be fresher than this.
