Taken to Bywater. Medium gold color..nice weight. Has a slightly oxidized nose at first, but that goes away as the wine gets some air in the decanter. Fruit forward nose. Notes of apricot, Meyer lemon, hazelnut, tan spice and some river stones. Good structure, maybe lacking some energy. Nice showing but given the trajectory I’m happy with drinking my last bottle of this.

Sep 3rd, 2022Medium gold in color but has a youthful appearance and scent. Notes of ripe apricot, pineapple, lemon curd, some spice and a little wet river stone. Beautiful fruit and acidity as the juice coats the mouth. With a few hours of air this gets more tropical in style. In a good drinking window, and I don’t think it will get any better with more age.
