Puligny-Montrachet Chardonnay

So good.

Light to medium gold. A little burnt orange and caramel in the nose. Guessed off vintage old white burg and it was sadly a 2007 Leflaive village. Drink up

Got to this in time, thankfully. Wedding year wine from Magnum. Creamy lemon, mature but still a very nice spine.

A touch oxidized

A village puligny that held its own against amongst some beauties.

Flinty mineral notes. Almost a little rifle barrel. Very little oak, and great citrus fruit.

Saved this wine from first buy for my wine store . Tight at first but wonderful mineral , lemon overtaken by floral . First bottle a precursor , worth the wait ?
